A BOMB ASS FELT TIP LINER + A SEXY CAT EYE HOW TO

IMG_1116Ahhhhh wing liner!!

What girl doesn’t have a love/hate relationship with wing liner!

As damn frustrating as it is to achieve it just screams SEXY once you have the technique down!

If I am wearing eye liner you can bet your ass there going to be that dang little wing attached to it.

When I think of wing liner I think of Jessie James Decker and Lauren Conrad and lets be honest who doesn’t want to look like those sex pots (hi, i do).

Over time I have figured out the easiest way to achieve this look is by using a felt-tip liner AND trust me there are some bad ones out there.

>> There are other types of liners out there but it is totally up to you what you prefer –> I feel like with felt tip liners you have the most control and they are the easiest to use.

Kat Von Dee Tattoo liner is definitely one of the best felt tip liners if not the best.

It literally does not budge (slept in my makeup the other night WHOOPS and it looked exactly the same the next morning when I woke up).

OBVS you can play up your eyes and make the wing more dramatic for a nighttime look or you can make more of a subtle wing for every day type of shenanigans.

(trying to photograph this was just a real pain in my A so I am going to explain the steps the best I can)

Steps to achieve a sexy cat eye wing (meow):

++ Start in the very inner corner of your eyeball and start dragging it as close to the lash line as possible.

++ Make the outer most part of the line thicker, this is crucial in achieving a wing line.

++ The wing: point the tip of the liner toward the corner of your eyebrow gently dragging it back towards the line that you just made, connecting the two.

++ Now start filling in the wing as big or small as you prefer.

++ Tippity Tip: Start small! Most of the time if you mess up (usually after I have caffeine) you will end up making your wing bigger in the process so start as small as possible and then build up from there.

++ Makeup remover plus a q-tip are your friend! Use them if you mess up, I still have to do this on the reg.

++ Practice, practice, practice is the only way you will get it down, sorry charlies.

++ Last but not least, a great mascara really pulls the whole look together! Pump up those lashes!
