Crave OR Save: Nude Palette Edition

Cant Stop Wont Stop buying Nude, bronzy, brown shimmery eye shadows.

AND when they come in palettes its like a win win.

I bought the Naked 1 palette by Urban Decay LITERALLY the day it hit shelves. I was one of those psychos who had an email sent to them the day it came out because, well, I basically thought it was the next best thing since sliced bread.

I have used it so much and it definitely has seen better days.

–> Top five holy grail makeup products FOR SURE.

Soo, when I was walking through the drug store the other day I spotted this little baby by Maybelline.
Not as cute of packaging but the colors (duh) caught my eye.

And I thought to myself well geez does that not look like a pretty dang close dupe to the Naked 1 Palette.

Long story short I bought it and I have been using it ever since.

Below are dupes of the colors, not exact, but pretty fricken close:

So Ladies, lets compare:

–> They both have 12 shades, some mattes, some shimmers (score!)

–> the colors range from very light to very dark

–> the pigmentation of both palettes is AMAZEBALLS

–> the packaging of the Naked palette is obvs cuter (Hi I’m a sucker for cute packaging)

–> the Naked palette comes with a mirror, the Maybelline nudes does not

–> The Maybelline one contains a black shade- which I think is essential for a sexy smoky eye

–> Cost: Naked Palette $50, Maybelline The Nudes $12

–> I will forever be in a long term relationship with The Naked 1 palette, but if you

are on a tight budget and aren’t willing to fork out the $50 buckos that the Naked palette costs

then don’t.

But if you aren’t on a budget and you can throw your money-in-the-air-like-you-just-don’t-care

then run, ya run, and go get yourself the Naked 1 Palette.
